A player wins a match by defeating other Kombatants (players) two out of three rounds. Players must determine how many matches will make up a tournament, and the player who wins a majority of these matches wins the game. Similar to the MK video games, the objective of the card game is to win the Mortal Kombat fighting tournament. The cards were available in 60-card starter packs and 15-card booster packs. The game consisted of a set of 300 unique cards each with a rarity level of either bronze (common), silver (uncommon), or gold (rare). The game featured all of the playable characters from the first two MK titles ( Mortal Kombat and Mortal Kombat II), as well as the hidden and boss characters.

That Hashtag Show wants to hear from you! The non-stop action and the fight scenes and the fighters’ special moves overall just make this move fun to watch. Personally, I enjoyed this more than the live-action movie, but I’m sure some of you will say I’m crazy about that. If you are a Mortal Kombat fan then Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms is definitely a must-watch. It was mainly a Liu Kang and Scorpion story with their supporting cast. Also because of this, we didn’t get to focus on a lot of the characters. With the stories going back and forth it just felt like it was rushed. While it was nest getting both stories, they could have easily been two separate films. My big thing is there was almost too much going on. While all of the above was amazing I did have a few issues with Battle of the Realms. If this action didn’t make you happy as a Mortal Kombat fan nothing will. From the shaping of the bones, the heads rolling, and the blood flying the animation and the sounds brought it all to life and didn’t hold back any details. The animation and sounds also help make this movie a gory one for the gas. Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms was pretty much non-stop action. What I mean is if you are a fan of the blood, guts, and gore of the games there is plenty of that in this movie. The creative team did a great job using the games as inspiration. One of the best things about this whole movie was the action. From here both storylines merge together and the action continues.
Shinnok does get the Kamindogu and with the remnants combined, he takes the power of the One Being. Once Scorpion is no longer needed he is attracted but with the help of Sub Zero.
Scorpion, who is the “key” to opening this vault tries to run but is captured and the vault is opened. Shinnok who wants to destroy the realms needs to unlock a vault containing the Kamidogu, the last remnant of the One Being. While all this is going on another storyline is brewing.
